Bosch eBike Systems will be delivering a comprehensive software upgrade for the latest generation of the Bosch Performance Line CX BDU384Y Drive Unit from summer 2025 - bringing significantly more power to the trail.

The best thing about it: Installation is very easy via the Bosch eBike Flow app, without the need for a workshop visit.

More torque, more peak power, more support

Even in its standard state, the popular mid-motor of fer s impressive performance with 85 Nm of torque and 600 watts of peak power.
With the new update, Bosch has upped the ante once again:

• 100 Nm maximum torque
• 750 watts peak power
• Up to 400% support of your own pedalling power

These performance values are otherwise only known from the Race mode of the CX-R motor - now they are ready for series production and can be unlocked via app. This is particularly noticeable on technically demanding uphill sections: More thrust at a low cadence ensures superior control and riding enjoyment in every situation.

New eMTB+ mode for even more agility

Bosch is also introducing the new eMTB+ mode with the update. This automatically adapts to the terrain and pedalling - for an even more natural riding experience, more agility and maximum efficiency on trails.

Available over-the-air - no workshop visit necessary

The software upgrade will be available free of charge from summer 2025 via the Bosch eBike Flow app. Thanks to the over-the-air update, the new power can be activated conveniently from home - quickly, safely and without having to go through a specialist dealer.
